Welcome to Under Western Skies This website is dedicated to the two major interests in my life...railroads and photography.
As you can see by my photos, I love to combine the action of railroading with sweeping views of the adjoining landscape, clouds, and skies. The beautiful, endless skies of the North American West. I'm not a roster shot person...what I'm out to capture is the power and majesty of railroading along with the beauty of the surrounding countryside. I've also include a few gallerys of non-railroad photographs, such as landscapes, nature, sunsets, and comet photos. A pretty picture doesn't always have to have a train in the middle of it. Any questions or comments, feel free to contact me:

Please Note: My pages and photographs will look best if your video resolution is set to
(or greater than) 1024 x 768 with 65K colors.
